SEW 2010- Day 2

We love to sing the songs for SEW! They are so fun!
Pre-K got to be a part of a ban-aid game. They had to hold up their thumb while the big kids put on a bandaid.

Our story for the morning was the Good Samaritan. We acted it out in the classroom. Here Yong Suk is the Levite passing by Seth, the wounded.
Zachary awaits as the innkeeper.

The Good Samaritan Ruthy, wraps the wounded's arm.

The priest, the Levite, and the Good Samaritan wait in the wings.

The wounded resting at the inn.

We talked about what it means to be kind to our friends, family, and people we don't even know. The kids came up with many good ideas on how to be kind and now we can put them into practice! We are going to take it in and live it out!

At center time, the kids kept playing the Good Samaritan story and wanted Mrs. Jennifer to be the wounded for them to take care of. They did a great job showing her kindness. They brought her pillows and blankets, food to eat (yummy donuts and soup and don't forget the bacon!), change her bandages, ...

...and even read Mrs. Jennifer stories while she rested. What a great way to practice kindness!

Check us out dancing and singing during large group time. We do a great job trying to keep up with the motions.
